Place your hand
on a stable surface. Choose a file that suits
the gradation: 180 – to give the desired length and shape, 240 – to matt the nail plate. It is recommended to file in one direction, holding
the file at an angle of 45° to the nail plate.
Use special oils, medicated varnishes and base coats with vitamins to strengthen your nails. An excellent remedy would be sea salt baths with oils, vitamins and iodine; with herbs. It is also worth adding protein-rich foods to your diet: nuts, fish, meat, cottage cheese, as well as spinach and citrus fruits.
Using a pusher, gently push the cuticle away from the base of the nail. Remove raised cuticles using sharp nail scissors or special nail clippers. Be careful not to cut too deep into the skin. At the end of the procedure, moisturize the skin around the nails with special oil.
The main difference between nippers and scissors is the cutting technology. It is believed that removing cuticles with scissors is more accurate, and nippers are safer for living skin. Also, the choice depends on the type of work: for manicure - scissors, and for pedicure - nippers. However, there is no clear opinion which is better. What really matters is the skill of use and the quality of the tool. Therefore, the choice is yours!
